Dr. David Alford from Arkansas had the following to say after attending our clinic September 19 & 20 and later successfully testing for his Certified Casting Instructor rating from the Federation of Fly Fishers.
Hi Al,
I hope this finds you feeling better and able to get going this weekend to Oktoberfisch. I need to say thanks again for getting me started on this path and I plan to keep working on to the next level. I was able to get over to Keller TX 3 weeks ago and attend the workshop. I think this one is what gave me the confidence to get through this. I was the only one there taking the upcoming exam, so I had Bill H., Jim, Gary D., and Diane one on one to critique things. And Rex and Taylor on Sunday was a real blessing.
